Devon M. Werble

Devon M. Werble has been working for the Los Angeles Community College District since 2002.  During that time she was adjunct faculty for LA City College’s (LACC) Economic and Workforce Development Department and taught English, ESL and study skills on behalf of the non-credit department.  She has managed several specially funded programs to serve at-risk youth in the surrounding LACC community. From older adults to current and former foster youth, her main focus has always been to make education accessible to all people.  Currently, she is a Faculty Field Consultant for the Career Ladders Project to help support state-wide initiatives around high-impact instructional strategies in contextualized teaching and learning as well as access and retention for former foster youth. She just completed her MA. in Applied Linguistics/TESOL.
