BIOMAPS, (Biotechnology Instruction Organizations Map Articulated Pathways for Success) is led by Skyline College in concert with the Career Ladders Project, regional high schools, Regional Occupational Programs and Services, and biotechnology employers in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Building on the highly successful Bay Area Biotechnology Career Pathway, BIOMAPS is designed to cultivate a workforce pipeline to meet the projected demand for a skilled biotechnology manufacturing workforce, BIOMAPS is working to: expand and align biotechnology programs; accelerate career education and training instruction; expand work experience opportunities, mentorships and applied learning opportunities for students; and provide faculty high quality, industry driven professional development. BIOMAPS is funded by the California Community College Chancellor's Office.
